Treatment Orientation:
We promote a holistic, “therapy-first” treatment that is focused on optimizing one's well being. Since our practitioners do not have any admitting privileges at local psychiatric hospitals or a 24 hour crisis line, we are not able to accept new patients with a history of inpatient psychiatric treatment, suicide attempts, or psychosis.

She is particularly adept in working with young children and believes that early diagnosis can lead to early intervention to enhance children's development and overall quality of life. Her years of working with inner-city youth in Philly and abused kids, she has the ability to establish trust in the working relationship. She is strength-based and builds upon an individuals unique skills to overcome adversity. She particularly enjoys doing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a type of therapy that teaches clients to become their own therapist and relies on an understanding of how thoughts and feelings ultimately affect how we behave. This type of therapy has strong support in the medical research for addressing anxiety and depression. She has a great deal of experience in helping teenagers with an ADHD diagnosis (sometimes referred to as ADD) and looks to optimize executive functioning. For years, Jennifer has been a champion of the LGBTQ+ community, and particularly enjoys helping individuals who are struggling with a world that might still be coming to terms with with the person that they were born to be. She’s been an executive director at several of PA’s largest mental health organizations, and she particularly enjoys helping other adults in leadership positions avoid burn out and navigate job stress.
