I am a full-time Board-Certified psychiatrist dedicated to assisting youth and adults who may be dealing with emotional distress in the face of challenges in life. Some life changes can elicit fear, worries, or even despair. These problematic events can interfere with the ability to perform well at school/work and our interpersonal life.
My primary clinical focus is anxiety disorders, depression, and ADHD. I am committed to providing the best evidence-based psychopharmacology in coordination with a more comprehensive treatment plan that includes families, schools, therapists, and community support. Mental health is not a journey that needs to be taken alone. My goal is to offer partnership, assist with emotional well-being, help find healthier ways to cope and find a sense of hope and meaning.
I completed my residency training at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (former University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey) and my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
I previously worked at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for seven years, providing inpatient and outpatient care while serving as co-Medical Director of Adolescent Inpatient Services. I also served as a preceptor for medical students and residents and as psychotherapy supervisor for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry training program.
