Ashika Kapoor, MD

As a Board-Certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience, I bring an integrative approach to medicine to find comfortable and effective solutions for my patients. I will often combine the judicious use of medications with nutritional educational, exercise science, relaxation, and emerging techniques.

​I completed a seven-year BA/MD medical program at Rutgers University/Rutgers Medical School, and then completed residency training in General Psychiatry at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. Following my residency training, I completed a two year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and served as Chief Fellow in my final year.  I am double board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry.  I am also certified in the Conscious Parenting™ Coaching Method.
